One of the lessons I learnt from it was consistency!

You see, I started their IG page last year and was posting videos where I taught them the Yoruba language but got so busy that I stopped posting there for months and forgot about it! They had only about a 100 plus followers at that time.

Late last year, a parent called me and was asking why my husband and I stopped posting on their page. I explained that I was busy. However, that question kept ringing in my head and I was reminded of the purpose for creating the page in the first place - to inspire parents to bring up their children in God’s way by spending time with them and teaching them his word.

So, I picked up from where I stopped and told hubby we needed to do this together and his energy has been wonderful.

Since then, it’s been an amazing journey!

Today, they have over 13000 followers and the feedback has been nothing short of amazing! How? Consistency!

Much more than that, my husband and I have learnt a lot about their gifts and our friendship with them continues to get better as a result.

My encouragement to you today is not to give up on whatever project you started just because it’s not yet yielding as much profit you anticipated. Don’t despise the days of little beginnings. Consistency truly adds up!

You post today on social media with only few likes and comments, don’t be discouraged. Keep posting!

Most importantly, parents, please don’t neglect quality time with your children.
