Dear Christian sister,

It is not enough to be in a relationship with a Christian brother, check that this brother is responsible!

Being responsible is a very critical aspect of being a husband. One of the signs of a responsible man is that he can provide for his family.

Many women have gotten entangled with lazy men who are not ready to work:

⁃ Men who are comfortable depending on their wives and others to feed them rather than look for something to do.

⁃ Men who would give many excuses of ‘there’s no job’. Yet, they do no not lift any finger or make any move to improve themselves or increase their value.

⁃ Men who have been brainwashed that faith is sitting down and expecting manna to fall from Heaven. What is faith without works?

Don’t ever fall into this trap that he would change! No! People don’t change that way, rather, they get tougher or even worse in marriage!

The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10b - “Whoever refuses to work is not allowed to eat.”

So, if such a man is not allowed to eat, then such a man does not even deserve a wife! If you marry him, you have married a burden and a prayer point! Don’t do it!

I am not saying marry a millionaire. I am saying marry a man who is hardworking, who has a vision for his life and has a job that will put food on the table and roof over your head! This is very important.
