He is too tall

He is bald

His dentition is bad

He is too skinny

He has body odour

He is not funny

He is too spiritual

He does not have a car

he is not rich

He is.... the list is endless!

Dear single lady, 

When you meet a man, who is God’s will for your life, don’t turn him down because of some flimsy reasons like some of the above as you could regret it for life and it could cost you your future. 

Yes, I know it is important to find Mr Right attractive, however, it is also wisdom not to forfeit raw gold for charcoal just because of the pain and sacrifice you would have to go through to get the gold shinning. 

See, God knows exactly what you want and the sort of guy that is best for you but many times when he comes along, he may not really look like it and you are tempted to reject His will for you. 

If only you look beyond your own physical desires and submit to His will – develop the friendship, get to know this guy well enough, then you would realize what He has given you is raw gold!

When I met my husband, he was still struggling to finish his Master’s degree, he was working as a waiter in a fast food restaurant, he didn’t have a car, his dentition was not the best , he didn’t have straight legs, he wasn’t as tall as I wanted my dream guy to be but there were things that I found more attractive than all of the other things I desired. 

He feared God, he was purpose driven, he respected my values and loved me dearly . These things mattered the most to me and gave me an assurance that the future would be bright; although I knew at the back of my mind that it would take some time but I was willing to let God have His way as I didn’t want to miss His will for my life.

We are not there yet, even though he has bought me three cars already but I can assure you that to God’s glory I did not miss it!  

Dear sister, all that glitters is not gold! 

Don’t be all after a man who has made it but isn’t God’s will for your life. Sometimes, you might have to build together to make it, which might not be easy, rest assured that things will definitely get better as you keep working in His way. 

Focus on God’s will, focus on pleasing him, He does not disappoint, He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that you could ever ask or think! He desires the best for you. 

Don’t despise that young man who loves you and you know is God’s will for you but you resist because of some attributes that can be overlooked.
